No attorney-client relationship. Reading this site, using the calculator, sending the contact form, emailing or calling does not create an attorney-client relationship. A relationship begins only when we both sign a written engagement or fee agreement.
Prior results. Any description of past matters or client experiences doesn't guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any other matter. Each case is different.
Contingency fees and costs. When a matter is handled on a contingency fee, no attorney's fee is owed unless money is recovered. Court costs and litigation expenses are separate from attorney's fees. Depending on the written fee agreement for your matter, you may be responsible for those costs and expenses whether or not there is a recovery. Every contingency fee agreement is in writing and signed by both the client and the lawyer, and states how expenses are handled and whether they are deducted before or after the fee is calculated.
Calculator. The interest calculator gives a rough estimate of simple interest at 12% a year. It doesn't account for contract rates, payments, disputes over dates, or other factors, and isn't a statement of what any court will award.
